A Signature Scent.

My husband recently returned from an overseas work trip, and brought me back a bottle of Jo Malone fragrance. (yay!!!) I’d always wanted to try these perfumes after reading about the new Wild Bluebell range, which was described as “dewy, lush and luminous”. The fragrance Barry chose was Iris & Lady Moore which is part of their limited edition London Blooms range. It is such a beautiful, unexpected blend of “spicy-fresh geranium and powdery iris” and I have completely fallen in love with it!

I adore perfume and wear it every day. When I was in my early twenties, I used to reserve my precious bottle of Spellbound for ‘going out’ until Tim, a good friend of mine, said “Don’t just save perfume for special occasions. It should be something you put on each morning as you are getting ready”.

I have quite a few favourites, such as Chanel’s Allure, Balenciaga, Carolina Herrera and each day I choose one depending on my mood, the weather, what I will be doing, etc. However, I think I may now be tempted to ‘settle down’ and wear the versatile and gorgeous ‘Iris & Lady Moore’ exclusively. It may even become my ‘signature scent’.

Do you flirt with different fragrances each day? Or do you stick with one signature scent, that everyone recognises as ‘belonging’ to you? What is your favourite??
